Annie!” was the first production produced by Hillary McClintick and the Next Step Dance Studio. The show ran in May of 2021 while we were still in the mask-wearing phaseof the pandemic. Unable to hold a show at any inside location, Next Step secured the track at Springfiled High School’s Silke Field the Tuesday before that Saturday’s show!!! By the grace of God it all came together. We constructed a floor, set up backdrops to change scenes and wings for our dancers to enter and exit, put up tents, set up sound, and away we went!

“Annie!” had three shows in one day making for a very long and yet very rewarding day of performances! It will forever be remembered as an example of the very heart of our studio! Against so much adversity and obstacle after obstacle, we persevered and delivered a fantastic show. Our dancers were committed, hard working, and resilient! Our studio came together and learned what passion, love, and determination can overcome!
